It's just a dumb tradition someone made up, and it makes the game go on much longer than it should. The less money in circulation, the better. But there's no excuse for cheap chinese food. Monopoly is a great game though. Although I'm a table-top gaming nerd so Monopoly is probably on list of "short" games. I think so many people just have such short attention spans. Seems to be getting worse these days. Maybe I'm just getting old? (I'm 29) I like the "Here and Now" Monopoly with the current properties (Las Vegas Blvd), utilities (ISP), and transportation(LAX) and the larger denominations of money (10k-5mil). I love board games but usually can't get anyone (except my 7yo daughter) to play with me.
