A light hum from the wall unit filled my room.
The hum, I realized, can only be made in the space it’s given.
I visualized all the sounds right now. From the ocean waves that splash on the remote beaches of Kauai, to the birds that chirp deep in the forests of the American Northwest.
All these sounds have one commonality: presence. Where structures, mountains, and rivers existed long ago, today, and will continue to exist. Sounds only live within the space of now.
As I heard the hum of the air conditioner; I realized it had come to teach me something:
To live where it lives. Exist where it exists. And play where it plays.

Awesome observation!! Makes you think about the amazing power of nature- and how important it all is in relation to your concept of life!
