- Friday: Nothing beats that initial feeling of freedom at the end of a long week.
- Saturday: The sleeping in of Sunday with the excitement of Friday.
- Thursday: Weekend mode begins to kick in.
- Sunday: On one hand, it is the day of rest. On the other hand, it is almost Monday.
- Wednesday: Hump Day ain’t so bad.

Tuesday is the most evil of all. Where as Monday announces to the world how evil it is; Tuesday doesn’t draw too much attention to itself–and this is where its power lies.

That is an excellent point. I still loathe Monday most, though.

I believe that Tuesday is, in fact, the worst day of the week.

Close, but personally, I rather like Mondays.
Monday is the best day of the week to take off. Most people will take off Friday, but in many (most?) businesses, Friday is the slow day, while Monday is the hectic day.
So, why take off the slow day? That is the easiest day of the week to work! Instead, take off Monday, so everybody else takes care of the hectic post-weekend cleanup, so that when you come in on Tuesday, your beginning of the week is quite easy!
Personally, though, I always attempt to get my days off on Monday and Tuesday for that very reason. Many places that are open over the weekend are usually desperate to get good workers in on Saturday and Sunday (which inevitably turn out to be slow days). So, work those two slower days, and take off Monday and Tuesday, instead!
By my lady-friend and myself have been doing that for years. When we go places over our “weekend”, the lines are usually short, the crowds are usually non-existent and life is just much more peaceful!

I think this only applies to Monday-Friday, 9-5 jobs.
How silly… most people seem to forget the restaurant workers, the bartenders and the other night/weekend jobs because most are too busy enjoying that time for themselves. They forget that others are working so that they might enjoy those Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
I apologize. Living in a tourist town and working weekend jobs for nearly a decade has made me a bit bitter.
Personally? I rather enjoy Mondays. They’re my Saturday.

Tuesdays are definitely the worst
Although I really don’t like Mondays, they’re the best webcomic days
nearly all of my comics update on Mondays.
And I think Fridays are overrated. They’re still a part of the work week and everyone is going stir crazy; makes things quite uncomfortable

Ah yes, the tyranny of the office workers. Ignoring the fact that a sizable chunk of the populous works in retail, construction, the medical field, etc…
Sitting on your butt all day in an air conditioned environment, while surfing the net when you’re supposed to be working; and you people expect the rest of us to bend over backwards to accommodate YOUR schedules?
Pathetic.
